- Do you need it? Not for your federal tax return. You may still need it for state taxes or your records.
- How to get it: call CHAMPVA at 800-733-8387 (TTY 711), Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. ET, and request a paper copy.
- CHAMPVA counts as minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
